Keto Smothered Pork Steak

INGREDIENTS
- 5 Cubed Pork Steaks
- 10 ounces Bacon
- 1 egg
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Keto 5-Minute Gravy Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups beef broth
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
- salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a medium-sized bowl combine almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper..
- In a separate bowl beat the egg until the yellow is fully combined and place each steak in the egg mixture and coat on both sides.
- Batter each steak in the flour and set aside.
- In a large skillet fry the bacon until done.
- Remove the bacon and place the battered steaks in the hot bacon grease and fry for 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until they start to turn brown.
- Once done, remove the steaks and pour the remainder of the flour seasoning and the onion into the skillet and fry stirring frequently until the onions are done.
- Once done place the steaks back into the skillet on top of the onions and drippings.
- Pour 1 to 2 cups of Keto brown gravy over the top of the steaks, cover the skillet, and allow to simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
Keto 5-Minute Gravy Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a small pot and whisk until the xanthan is absorbed. There may be a few clumps on the top, but don't worry, those will cook out.
- Turn on your stove to medium-high heat. Bring your gravy to a boil and continue to whisk for one minute.
- Remove the gravy from the stove. Serve hot.
