Keto Chicken Skillet
Keto Chicken Skillet with Parmesan Garlic Cream Sauce is quick, easy, delicious, and done in 30 minutes!
INGREDIENTS
Chicken
- 3 chicken breasts (split into half cutlets)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
Cream sauce
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cup organic heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 small colored bell peppers (green, red, and yellow)
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pepper (to taste)
- 6 ounces mushrooms (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl mix together the rosemary, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and onion powder
- Sprinkle mixture over both sides of the chicken and coat well.
- On medium high heat melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet and then place in the chicken. If your skillet is small just cook in batches. Cook chicken for 8 to 10 minutes on each side making sure to get it done.
- Remove the chicken to a plate.
- Using the same pan, melt the butter and add mushrooms (optional), peppers, garlic, salt, and pepper and saute' for about 5 minutes. Stir mixture well scraping the bottom of the skillet to include brown bits.
- Stir in the thyme, rosemary, and parsley and cook for a couple of minutes allowing the flavors to incorporate.
- Mix in the heavy whipping cream and cook for additional 2 to 4 minutes.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and continue to cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle the top with parsley and serve hot.
